Auricular Acupuncture- This is a specialised complementary therapy where acupuncture points on the outer ear are treated using needles or electroscopes to relieve many chronic complaints.

The shape of the auricle (ear) resembles a near term foetus and there are nearly two hundred acupoints on the outer ear named after areas of our anatomy, i.e. knees, hips, heart, etc. The outer ear acts as a switchboard to the brain. Each acupoint on the ear, when treated, triggers electrical impulses, from the ear via the brain, to specific area of the body that is being treated to alleviate pain.
