TRACY GILL - I am a fully qualified Holistic & Beauty Therapist and Podiatrist, trained in Reflexology, Chiropody, Auricular Acupuncture, Podiatric Acupuncture, Reflexology, Reiki and Therapeutic Massage. 

I began my studies in 1982 as a Beauty Therapist at UWIC Cardiff and qualified in 1986 as one of the very first Master Beauty Therapists in Wales. Also I won the regional Livewire business award for starting a new business that same year. 

In that time I lectured and studied for the Further Education Teaching Certificate until 1989 and changed direction to work as a Personnel/Training Manager with British Rail until 1992.  

In that time I gained the Graduate in Personnel Management from the University of Glamorgan, before missing working for myself and retraining in Chiropody and Counselling 1996. 

My interest in alternative therapies led me to Reflexology in 1998 and I also gained Fellowship status of the Open College of Podiatry in 2003. 

In continuing with professional development courses I then took a Podiatric Acupuncture course and this inspired my interest and led me to qualify as an Auricular Acupuncturist and also as a Reiki Practitioner in 2004. 

To further enhance my career I have studied with the Open University on Perspectives on complementary and alternative medicine in 2005. Nail surgery in 2007 and am working towards an MSc in Podiatry in 2008.

I am a member of the following organisations: -

• Fellow Member of the British Chiropody & Podiatry Association
• Fellow of the International Federation of Health & Beauty Therapists
• Registered with the Health Professions Council
• Member of the Society of Auricular Acupuncturists
• Member of the British Complementary Medicine Association
